Reflections-Speaking Class
The objectives of my lesson were to help students develop a narrative in a given situation.The situation was introduced after brainstorming the students with cartoon slides. The students were supposed to imagine the situation and develop the narrative in groups.It went out well ,as planned.The students actively participated and the execution part worked quite well. Interesting prompts really help to give free play to one's creative faculties and also help overcome hesitation.In my next lesson i will try to work on some more innovative ideas.

Refklections -Listening Class 24 March2009
The objectives of my class were to help the students listen to an audio and gather specific information after listening. They were given a set of questions as task and were supposed to answer them after listening to the tape one more time.The audio was a conversation between the receptionist of a Language School and a student who had just arrived on the first morning of his class. The audio was comprehended well by the students and they were able to answer almost all the questions.I think my lesson worked quite well and i was able to achieve the objectives to a large extent. Since we improvise each day, i will definitely try to be better in my next class.

The objectives of my lesson were to help the students describe objects and people and write at least 5 sentences. After a brief introduction of descriptive compositions, I illustrated it with the help of examples. The first part of the lesson worked quite well. The second part related to the task was elaborated by the teacher .The students responded well. Next time I will take lesser activities. I am ready to improvise and the experience was really helpful to make me learn manage time.

The objectives of my lesson was to make the students understand the main ideas of the text.For this they were shown some cartoon slides as a pre-reading activity.Later on they were supposed to read and understand the given text and identify the role of visuals along the text.I was able to achieve these objectives to a large extent.Visuals and text PPTs helped to work out the lesson well.If i repeat my lesson i would try to get and arrange some more pre-reading slides . I would also try to create some more interesting post reading exercises.This experience is definitely going to help me in my class room teaching
